Boris’s ‘Deal’ is a full blown treaty, binding in International law. It’s the sort of document a nation signs after losing a war. Voters need to know this before December 12th. It’s a surrender document and to sign it would make Britain little more than a province in Europe with no say on what happens, no vote and no way to leave.

York Central, like much of the North has been a Labour Party stronghold in recent years. Labour voters, like many other former Conservative and Liberal Democrat voters are aware that something is seriously wrong with British Politics and the democratic choice to change our destiny which 17.4 million people voted for has not been accepted by a ‘Remainer’ establishment. This General Election is different to any other post-war election and may be our last chance to take back control of our laws, our borders, our economy and indeed our traditional way of life. With your help, post December 12th, Brexit Party MPs in Parliament can hold the government to account on Brexit, and a vote for us means much more than delivering a proper Brexit. New people with fresh thinking and proven practical ability will bring innovative solutions to address the pressing issues of our day, like the NHS, social care, the economy, education and climate change. Nick Szkiler – Brexit Party Parliamentary Candidate for York Central
On Monday, Nigel Farage announced that all Prospective Parliamentary Candidates for the Brexit Party in constituencies with a Conservative MP at the 2017 General Election would be stood down. As the former PPC for York Outer, yesterday was the day when my journey to become a candidate would have ended.
All of us were told from the beginning that the Brexit Party would put Country before Party and that we may be called to stand down if a ‘Leave Alliance’ were to happen with the Conservatives and MPs from other parties who strongly support a ‘clean break’ from the EU.
Voters saw Nigel Farage put Country before his young Party yesterday.
Mark Robinson the former PPC for York Central and I met at the weekend to discuss changing constituencies and Mark felt strongly that if one of us would be called to step down, he would be the PPC to be withdrawn, thus allowing me to fight for the Labour held seat in York Central. I became the Brexit Party’s PPC for York Central on Sunday afternoon – before we knew of Nigel Farage’s decision.
Not only have the British public seen that this young Party will put the needs of the nation first, but that that individual candidates would be willing to make a sacrifice in a cause they believe in for the sake of a colleague.
These are the kind of men and women I want to stand alongside as we fight the most important General Election since the second World War
